Assam is undergoing a major connectivity transformation as a series of landmark bridge projects across the Brahmaputra and its tributaries improve mobility, trade and regional integration in the state. Led by the government under Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the initiative focuses on linking the north and south banks that historically depended on ferries and long detours.
