Mumbai police have arrested actor and social media influencer Sahil Khan for allegedly involvement in the Mahadev betting app case.
Before his arrest, his bail application was rejected by the Bombay High Court. The actor was later arrested from Chhattisgarh by the Mumbai Cyber Cell.
Earlier, the SIT had summoned Sahil and three others for questioning in December 2023, but he did not appear. He claimed that he was only a brand promoter under the agreement with M/s.
The actor denied any direct links with Isports247, promoting The Lion Book brand, and betting platforms. According to police, he was a partner in Lotus App 247 and the actor will be produced before him in the court.
As per reports, the cyber cell is also examining his bank accounts, mobile phones, laptops etc, Khan who also worked in movies like Style, Excuse Me, and known as fitness awareness, his youtube channel has over 2.8 million suscribers.
Mumbai Police is investigation charges against 32 people, including Sahil Khan.
