The results for the Assam Board Class 10 (HSLC) and Class 12 (Higher Secondary) examinations are expected to be declared in April 2026, with the Matric results likely around April 10 and the HS results before April 20, according to recent updates.
The timeline was indicated by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during a public address, where he suggested that the state government is aiming to release the results early this year.
The move is seen as part of efforts to streamline the academic calendar in view of key events, including the upcoming Assam Assembly elections scheduled for April 9 and the Bohag Bihu celebrations beginning mid-April.
The Class 10 examinations are conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam, while the Class 12 examinations fall under the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. Both boards are expected to complete evaluation processes in time to meet the proposed deadlines.
Once declared, students will be able to check their results on the official websites of the respective boards.
Officials, however, are yet to announce exact dates, and students are advised to keep an eye on official notifications for confirmation.
